Citizen of the Year Award

The Citizen of the Year Award is presented to an individual with a demonstrated commitment to Parke County through civic and business involvement. The recipient will possess values including an unwavering responsibility to the community through involvement with local organizations that elevate the overall quality of life in Parke County.

The Citizen of the Year Award Nominees must be a Parke County Resident and must meet each of the following criteria:

• Community Leadership: Provided a broad and substantial impact on Parke County through community involvement in more than one area.

• Personal Leadership: Serve as a role model for our community both personally and professionally.

• Service: Recognition will be given for leadership and performance for work going above and beyond.

Chamber Member of the Year Award

The Top Chamber Member of the Year Award honors an outstanding Chamber member in Parke County who, as an organization, has been a leader in the community. The business has been a pinnacle of business growth and development and has demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit, taken risks and made investments in terms of time and money to grow business and jobs in the community. The Top Chamber Member of the Year must be a Parke County Chamber member and must meet the following criteria:

• Chosen from one of the Outstanding Chamber Members for 2024

• Contributes and promotes the economic growth, stability, and improvements of the community.

• Exceptional growth in workforce and/or company sales/revenue/profit.

• Actively illustrates a commitment to the community.
